Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Southeastern Regional Medical Center is opening its doors to the public this Friday, Aug. 22 to raise awareness about the importance of donating hair to cancer patients.

One Life’s Journey, a non-profit organization that provides wigs and prostheses to patients battling cancer, will be onsite at the hospital’s Lilly Bella Salon to accept hair or monetary donations.

All donations will support patients treating at the CTCA in Newnan.

The event is Friday from 1 to 4 p.m.
